The dining experience felt underwhelming, with a limited menu that left some dishes, like the fish, overcooked. The approach to the building could use a bit of sprucing up, and the stairs to reach the rooms are quite steep, which might not be ideal for everyone. Noise from maintenance activities and extractor fans can detract from an otherwise peaceful stay.

Breakfast was well-presented and delicious, adding to the experience of the spacious bathroom with a delightful shower. access to rooms could be challenging for those with mobility issues due to the stairs.

Only quirky bit was the steep stairs. not ideal for everyone. Maybe check with the hotel if that's a concern!

The spacious Superior King Room was a standout, featuring unexpected comforts like bathrobes, complimentary chocolates, and a well-stocked fridge with fresh milk. Attentive service from the staff made us feel at home, particularly thanks to Chrissie's warmth. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the generous fruit platter, complementing a fantastic dining experience with delicious Bernese Fries. While the peaceful setting was delightful, some amenities could use updates for a more comprehensive experience.

The food was fab, really inventive with local ingredients. The room was beautiful, and our requests were accommodated without hesitation, like extending our checkout when I wasn't feeling well.
It certainly wasn't cheap, but the experience was still very acceptable.
